Karu munu Tjukula Creek and Rockholes by Heather Brumby

Artists paint their connection to their land using symbolism from their own individual dreaming path. The dots in different colour blocks represent vegetation and places where bush foods can be gathered as it changes from place to place and season to season.  Sites may be specific rocks, waterholes, special trees, mountains and many others.  Wavy lines may depict the travels of ancestral beings.
The artwork on this card is from the Iwantja Arts Aboriginal Artists cards series.
